By visiting Hawkswick Fruit Farm and participating in Pick-Your-Own fruit picking, you agree to the following terms.
Entry
Entry to the farm may be subject to opening times, availability of fruit, and seasonal conditions.
We may occasionally need to close fields or restrict access for safety or crop management reasons.
Fruit Availability
Fruit availability varies throughout the season and cannot be guaranteed on any particular day. Availability may change due to weather, crop conditions, and demand.
Some fields or crops may be closed at short notice to allow fruit to ripen or to protect the plants.
Payment
All fruit picked must be weighed and paid for before leaving the farm.
Prices are displayed on the farm and may vary depending on the type of fruit and season.
Visitors are not permitted to eat fruit while picking. All fruit must be paid for before it is consumed.
If visitors are found to be eating fruit before it has been weighed and paid for, Hawkswick Fruit Farm reserves the right to charge an additional amount at a rate we consider appropriate.
Hawkswick Fruit Farm is a small family-run business, and the fruit grown here is our livelihood. Eating fruit without paying for it affects our ability to keep the farm running and open to visitors each year. We therefore ask all visitors to respect the farm and only consume fruit after it has been paid for.
Picking Policy
Visitors should only pick fruit in areas clearly marked as open for picking.
Please avoid damaging plants and surrounding crops.
Liability
Visitors enter Hawkswick Fruit Farm at their own risk.
While we take reasonable steps to maintain a safe environment, Hawkswick Fruit Farm cannot accept liability for:
accidents or injuries occurring on the farm
loss or damage to personal belongings
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Children
Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Dogs
They are not allowed into the picking areas.
Changes to Terms
Hawkswick Fruit Farm may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
