Our farm has had a quite extraordinary season so far. Visitor numbers have been so large that for a period on Wednesday morning we had to close our gates to customers.

There have also been extended times when the delays to customers at the check out tills have been too long and we are sorry to all who have experienced this problem .

We considered adopting a pre booking ticketing arrival system as operated elsewhere, but our problem is that given the small farm scale selling a ticket when we might not have sufficient ripe berries felt the wrong choice.

To try and remedy matters we will have introduced an extra cash only till payments from Sunday.

Please could we suggest that you consider arriving when it is a little quieter at around 11.30 a.m rather than promptly at 9.00 a.m.

Please be aware that picnicking is NOT ALLOWED on our farm this season, We must ensure we stick to the correct social distancing.

We are not able to offer toilet facilities this year.
